Miso Information Technology, a multimodal data platform company, said on Sunday it has completed the deployment of its AI vision inspection-based intelligent manufacturing platform, DAXI, at CMTX’s manufacturing process. CMTX specialises in materials and components for semiconductor processes.
The project converted an existing manual, visual inspection system into an AI-based automated decision system. It focused on improving inspection accuracy and inference speed per image.
Miso Information Technology designed and developed the entire inspection pipeline, from real-time image collection from inspection equipment to LOT (inspection unit) decisions and statistical analysis. It applied a human-in-the-loop structure in which the AI model performs an initial decision and a worker conducts final review and confirmation, to minimise the risk of misclassification.
Nam Sang-do (남상도), chief executive of Miso Information Technology, said the CMTX project was a representative case proving that AI can drive productivity and quality innovation in manufacturing sites. He said the company will lead AI transformation across industries including semiconductors, medical devices, secondary batteries, defence and aerospace, based on diverse data from manufacturing sites.
