Whatap Labs, Miso Information Technology and Skyworldwide signed a three-way MOU for joint business promotion and technical cooperation in AI and advanced IT.

Whatap Labs, a South Korean observability company, said on Feb. 12 it signed a three-way memorandum of understanding with Miso Information Technology and Skyworldwide for joint business promotion and technical cooperation in AI and advanced IT.

Under the agreement, the three companies plan to share graph RAG and ontology-based knowledge infrastructure with the aim of implementing physical AI. They also plan to jointly develop an integrated value chain spanning data collection, analysis and use. They aim to jointly develop an AI-native monitoring-based real-time IT infrastructure analysis and management solution and an AI-based multimodal big-data platform, and use them in various businesses.

Whatap Labs is an observability company that develops and provides integrated IT monitoring services, offering a SaaS-based integrated IT monitoring service. It has a full-stack platform that supports end-to-end monitoring across IT infrastructure, from applications to servers, Kubernetes, databases, logs, URLs, browsers and network performance.

Miso Information Technology is a specialist in multimodal data platforms and has a big-data platform optimised for analysing a range of data from medical to industrial. Skyworldwide provides graph database (Graph DB) technology.

The three companies plan to continue discussions to identify joint projects and build a mid- to long-term cooperation model. Lee Dong-in (이동인), CEO of Whatap Labs, said, "This agreement is a starting point for creating tangible business results and technology synergy in AI and advanced IT by combining each company's core technology capabilities." He said the partners plan to expand joint technology development and business cooperation in stages.
