Mirae Asset says tokenisation is new distribution channel, needs global on-chain links

Mirae Asset said it sees tokenisation of financial products as a new channel for distributing existing assets and laid out a strategy to expand from exchange-traded funds to on-chain markets. An executive said liquidity and distribution, product structure and regulation were harder challenges than the technology. Second public participation National Growth Fund sales begin, raising 600 billion won

Sales of the second public participation National Growth Fund open on Sept. 30, allowing retail investors to invest in the government’s National Growth Fund programme. The fund will raise 600 billion won and invest in future advanced industries such as AI, semiconductors, energy and biotech. Asset managers including Mirae Asset, KB and Samsung have begun fundraising, while brokerages opened dedicated savings accounts and started sales. The product includes a loss-buffer structure and tax benefits tied to holding requirements.

Korea Premium Week 2026 to bring global investors together

South Korea\'s financial authorities and the Korea Exchange will hold Korea Premium Week 2026 from Sept. 28 to Oct. 16, a three-week combined investor relations and conference event. Forty-two institutions and 55 listed companies will take part. The programme includes discussions on capital and foreign exchange market reforms, corporate governance and market infrastructure, as well as meetings between global institutional investors and major Korean companies. Events for individual investors and seminars on growth markets are also planned.
