Report says Apple MacBook Neo 2 may come with 12GB of RAM, better suited to AI features

Apple\'s entry-level laptop, the follow-up to the MacBook Neo, may come with 12GB of RAM next year, a report said. IT media outlet 9to5Mac said the MacBook Neo 2 could increase memory from 8GB to 12GB and use an A19 Pro chip. The MacBook Neo launched early this year with an A18 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM. More memory could help with macOS 27 AI features.

Apple posts sole growth as PC shipments fall, MacBook Air strong in enterprise market

Apple was the only major computer maker to increase PC shipments as global volumes fell, with relative strength in the enterprise market, 9to5Mac reported, citing IDC data. IDC said industry shipments fell about 5 percent while vendors’ revenue rose as component prices increased. Apple’s shipments rose 10 percent while HP, Dell and Lenovo declined.
