Financial Services Commission, industry ministry to grow physical AI firms with National Growth Fund

South Korea\'s Financial Services Commission and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy will link the National Growth Fund with a manufacturing AI transformation project to identify and support leading companies in physical AI. They discussed support measures at a joint public-private meeting at Korea Development Bank. The plan targets sectors including AI factories, robots and future vehicles, with about 16 trillion won to be supplied this year across six related fields.

Physical AI alliance recast as execution platform, starts push for homegrown full stack

South Korea\'s government and industry will build a \"K-physical AI full stack\" linking local AI chips, models, software, robots, networks and data centres, shifting the alliance from policy discussion to an execution platform.
