Paramount+ and HBO Max complete 147.4 trillion won mega-merger, Skydance launches

Skydance plans to combine HBO Max, Paramount+ and Discovery+ into a single streaming service after completing its $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery. The newly launched company is named Skydance and said it will merge the services over time, without disclosing a schedule, name or pricing. Dario Amodei says AI regulation needs enforcement, transparency alone not enough

Dario Amodei (다리오 아모데이), CEO of Anthropic, said on June 10 that AI regulation should shift from transparency disclosures to binding, enforceable rules. In an essay, he wrote that AI risks have clearly become real and that transparency laws alone are no longer sufficient. He proposed an FAA-style model requiring third-party assessments of certain frontier AI systems, with governments able to block or revoke deployment based on results.
