[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jeong Lee (이호정)] Com2uS said on Tuesday it unveiled limited-edition merchandise combining the universes of "Summoners War: Sky Arena" (Summoners War) and "The Lord of the Rings" to mark the collaboration and began global preorder sales.

The preorder runs simultaneously worldwide through the official online merchandise shop, the Com2uS Store. The Korea shop and global shop will take preorders from Tuesday through March 10, with shipments to begin in stages from late March. Thailand, Taiwan and Europe will take preorders for about two weeks from Tuesday and will start shipping in April.

The company said the products are the first game collaboration merchandise introduced by Com2uS and carry special significance as limited-edition items combining the universes of the hit RPG "Summoners War" and "The Lord of the Rings". Com2uS plans to enhance fans' collecting value through a differentiated lineup marking the meeting of the two global intellectual properties (IP).

The products unveiled total 6 types: an artisan keycap set, a metal keyring, playing cards, an expedition blanket, a desk mat (2 types) and an acrylic stand (2 types). Buyers who purchase during the preorder period will receive a 10 percent discount.

Com2uS will also give gifts, including artisan keycaps, depending on purchase amount, and will run an event allowing buyers of the collaboration merchandise to purchase existing products at discounted prices.
