Korean game makers rewrite global playbook, moving beyond \'test in Korea then go overseas\'

Instead of first proving a game in Korea and then launching abroad, they are now targeting global PC and console markets from the development stage and reflecting overseas user reactions in game quality and release strategy. At Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, firms including Krafton, NCSoft, Kakao Games and Com2uS Holdings showed new genres and conducted demos to gather feedback.
