AI Big 2 and cloud Big 3 build in-house FDE teams, step up enterprise AX push

Microsoft said on July 2 it will set up a dedicated organisation, Microsoft Frontier Co, to support corporate AI adoption and invest $2.5 billion. The unit will be staffed by 6,000 employees deployed directly to customer sites, including existing field engineers, technical consultants, support staff and industry sales. AWS announced a $1 billion FDE organisation, while OpenAI and Anthropic also formed teams. Google is hiring hundreds of FDEs.

Adobe, LinkedIn launch global AI skills initiative for marketers

Adobe said on Wednesday it is launching a global initiative with professional networking platform LinkedIn called AI Essentials for Marketers. The training course is designed for anyone regardless of career level and is provided in a short-form format optimised for social environments for learners who find it difficult to study for long periods. Adobe said the initiative is part of its Adobe Digital Academy strategy to help learners succeed in the job market.

Netflix says key to marketing K-content is giving the world something to talk about

Netflix said the core of its marketing for Korean content is the story. Kim Mi-hoo (김미후), a director in Netflix\'s Korea marketing division, said the key is for good stories born in Korea to reach people worldwide and create bigger cultural moments. She introduced a “Conversation-First” strategy aimed at getting the world to talk about K-content. Netflix cited global social channels and said it has more than 1.4 billion social media followers.
