AI infrastructure edge lies in data management, Dell executive says

Dell Technologies picked data management as a key differentiator in the race to lead AI infrastructure, saying companies need stronger capabilities to manage dispersed internal data for AI. Senior Vice President Travis Beihl said linking the right data to the right use cases will be crucial. He outlined the three-layer Dell AI Data Platform and highlighted storage and orchestration functions.
