F5 said on Thursday it unveiled F5 AI Guardrails, an AI-native solution integrated with Nvidia NeMo Guardrails to bring enterprise-grade AI security to production AI applications. F5 said the integration separates security policy enforcement from AI frameworks to provide centralised security and governance across AI applications. Organisations can adopt Nvidia NeMo Guardrails as a standard while using F5 AI Guardrails to check prompts and large language model responses, applying enterprise policies centrally without changing AI applications.

A suggestion has emerged that securing national-level sovereign AI competitiveness requires nurturing researchers and engineers who can develop and operate large-scale AI systems. SK Telecom is jointly researching with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to improve inference performance and computational efficiency for its own AI foundation model. MIT professor Kim Yoon-hyung said talent and experience running large systems are key, and described test-time training as an approach that uses inference-time computing to improve model performance.
