South Korean stocks rise for fifth day, KOSPI nears 7,000
South Korean shares rose for a fifth straight session this week, with the KOSPI closing near the 7,000 mark after briefly moving above it in intraday trading. LG to use Nvidia AI for humanoid, to unveil bipedal robot in 2027 Q1
LG will integrate Nvidia artificial intelligence technology into its humanoid robot development and plans to unveil a next-generation bipedal humanoid in the first quarter of next year. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding at Nvidia headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The robot will use Nvidia’s Jetson Thor along with Isaac GR00T and the Halos for Robotics safety system. The partnership also covers robot data and AI factory projects, plus mobility platforms based on Nvidia Drive Hyperion.
