Woori Bank publishes 2025 ESG report, highlights issues including AX and DX innovation
Woori Bank published its 2025 ESG report detailing its ESG management results over the past year and its direction going forward. The report, titled \"NEXT Finance, NEXT Future,\" outlines the bank’s approach to sustainable finance through ESG and its response direction for a green transformation. It also includes a double materiality assessment considering environmental and social impacts alongside financial factors. The bank selected four material issues based on an AI media index analysis and strengthened its disclosure framework.

LG Uplus wins CDP Carbon Management Honors Club award
LG Uplus said on March 10 it won the Carbon Management Honors Club award in the Carbon Disclosure Project assessment, the only telecom in South Korea to receive it. CDP collects and evaluates environmental management data from about 24,000 companies worldwide. The Honors Club award is given only to the top 5 companies in South Korea. LG Uplus said it won for a second straight year and again received the top Leadership A rating.

SKT builds ESG data platform to integrate and manage 280 data points
SK Telecom said on Tuesday it has built an ESG data integration platform to strengthen the transparency and reliability of ESG data. The company said the platform supports reporting aligned with global disclosure standards such as GRI and prepares it to respond proactively to domestic mandatory ESG disclosures under KSSB. The system integrates about 280 ESG-related data points, automates collection of about 50 percent of ESG data, and uses AI-based tools to respond in real time to inquiries.
