South Korea\'s team wins awards across board at International Mathematical Olympiad
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity said all six members of the national team won awards at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad in Shanghai. The team took three gold medals, two silver medals and one honourable mention among 666 students from 117 countries. Lee Hyun-joon scored a perfect 42 to rank first individually and won gold for a second straight year.

South Korean students win medals at international biology and chemistry Olympiads
All members of South Korea’s delegations won medals at the International Biology Olympiad and the International Chemistry Olympiad. The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity said four South Korean students won gold at the biology Olympiad in Vilnius, Lithuania. At the chemistry Olympiad in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, South Korea’s team won 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

MSIT to hold one-panel comic contest imagining the future of science and technology
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity will hold a one-panel comic contest themed \"In 10 years, how science and technology will change our lives.\" The contest has two categories: an original one-panel comic and a generative AI one-panel comic, with separate student and adult divisions. Submissions run from July 20 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. A total of 18 works will be awarded, with 20.5 million won in prize money.
