Namu Technology selected for joint research on GPU orchestration project
Namu Technology, a cloud and virtualisation solutions company, said on Tuesday it was selected as a joint research institution for a GPU orchestration technology development project led by the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI). The project aims to secure technology to operate and manage GPU cluster resources efficiently for AI workloads and will be carried out with a total budget of 24 billion won. Namu Technology will take charge of developing GPU resource operation technology.

CrowdWorks appoints expert committee member for Manufacturing AI Solution Development Support Center
AI technology company CrowdWorks said on March 17 that its chief technology officer, Yang Su-yeol (양수열), has been appointed as an industry expert committee member for the Manufacturing AI Solution Development Support Center. The center is a platform backed by a Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy project to support Korean manufacturers’ transition to AI factories. Yang will diagnose technical issues and advise on solution adoption strategies across quality, equipment, processes and operations.

NC AI launches K-Physical AI Alliance with 53 members including Samsung SDS
NC AI, a company specialising in industry-focused artificial intelligence, has formed a large alliance to strengthen South Korea\'s physical AI capabilities. The company on Feb. 11 unveiled the K-Physical AI Alliance consortium as it joins an IITP-led technology development project for training physical AI models. The consortium comprises 53 organisations, including 15 joint research bodies and 38 demand-side members such as Samsung SDS, Lotte Innovate, Posco DX and Hanwha Ocean.
