Wavve introduces media commerce, displays Olive Young products
South Korean online video service Wavve said on Wednesday it will introduce a \"media commerce\" feature and sharply expand the number of real-time channels within its TV app to 45. From Thursday, it will add a commerce band at the bottom of KLPGA and KPGA tour golf live broadcasts and VOD screens. The first partner is Olive Young, with beauty products shown during golf viewing.

Hana Financial starts pre-sales for Hana Bank Invitational
Hana Financial Group is starting advance sales of gallery tickets ahead of the opening of the Hana Bank Invitational, an Asian men’s golf tournament. The event will be held from June 18 to 21 at Namchuncheon Country Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon. The tournament offers total prize money of 1.3 billion won and a winner’s purse of 260 million won. Tickets are sold via Hana Bank’s Hana OneQ app until June 17.

Wavve appoints Lee Yang-gi as new CEO
Content Wavve, which operates the OTT streaming service Wavve, said on Thursday it appointed Lee Yang-gi as its new chief executive officer after a board meeting the previous day. Lee has served as head of CJ ENM\'s task force to strengthen OTT competitiveness and has held finance roles at CJ ENM, including as chief financial officer at Tving. He has been Content Wavve\'s CFO since 2025.
