Wavve appoints Lee Yang-gi as new CEO
Content Wavve, which operates the OTT streaming service Wavve, said on Thursday it appointed Lee Yang-gi as its new chief executive officer after a board meeting the previous day. Lee has served as head of CJ ENM\'s task force to strengthen OTT competitiveness and has held finance roles at CJ ENM, including as chief financial officer at Tving. He has been Content Wavve\'s CFO since 2025.

Wavve introduces HDR picture and immersive audio for sports broadcasts
Online video service Wavve said on Tuesday it will apply Dolby Vision HDR video and Dolby Atmos immersive audio to broadcasts of all events on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association and Korea Professional Golf Association tours. It said the simultaneous use of both technologies in sports live broadcasts is a first across domestic broadcasting and streaming services. The rollout begins with the 2026 KLPGA Tour season-opening event, The Siena Open 2026, which starts on April 2.

HR-based AI platform flex recruits five ambassadors including KLPGA pro golfers
HR-based AI platform flex has appointed five ambassadors, including four KLPGA pro golfers and a golf announcer, as it seeks to target the large enterprise market. The company held a 2026 ambassador induction event on Feb. 19 at the Josun Palace Hotel in Seoul. flex said it gave the ambassadors employee IDs allowing access to its Bundang headquarters, business cards and welcome kits it provides to new hires.
