Hana Financial Group will begin advance sales of gallery tickets ahead of the opening of the Asian men’s golf tournament, the Hana Bank Invitational.
Hana Financial said on Thursday it will conduct advance sales of gallery tickets for the Hana Bank Invitational, which will be held from June 18 to 21 at Namchuncheon Country Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon.
This year’s tournament will be held with total prize money of 1.3 billion won and a winner’s purse of 260 million won. It will be run exclusively by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) and held as a leading Asian men’s golf tournament featuring players from South Korea, China and Japan.
The field includes Ham Jung-woo (함정우) of Hana Financial Group’s golf team, along with Han Seung-soo (한승수), Park Eun-shin (박은신), Lee Sung-ho2838 (이성호2838) and Park Sang-hyun (박상현). KPGA Genesis Points leaders, including Moon Do-yeob (문도엽), Oh Seung-taek (오승택) and Song Min-hyeok (송민혁), will also compete.
Japan’s Ogiso Takashi (오기소 타카시), last year’s champion, will play, and China’s Chen Guxin (천 구신) and Jin Zihao (진 쯔하오) will also take part.
Gallery tickets can be purchased until June 17 on Hana Bank’s mobile app, Hana OneQ. Prices for single-day tickets are 10,000 won on weekdays and 20,000 won on weekends. Customers who prepay with a Hana Card receive a 50 percent discount regardless of the previous month’s spending or the card type. A 30 percent discount is also offered for on-site purchases.
Free admission will also be provided to spectators visiting via Namchuncheon Station on the Gyeongchun Line and the ITX-Cheongchun, as well as holders of the Hana Narasarang Card.
A Hana Financial Group official said, "We have prepared a range of programmes so people can enjoy top Asian players’ matches in person," adding, "We plan to run it as a festival-style tournament that families can enjoy together."
