Physical AI chip startup SimaAI raises $150 million at $1.45 billion valuation

Physical AI chip startup SimaAI raised $150 million at a valuation of $1.45 billion, SiliconANGLE reported on Sept. 28. The company plans to use the funds to expand its development environment and develop a next-generation embedded AI compute platform. The Series C round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Co and Amplify, with participation from existing and new investors. SimaAI is developing semiconductors and software for physical AI hardware.

Nvidia chip sales to double next year, Jensen Huang says

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) expects the company to sell twice as many chips next year as this year, citing growing AI investment demand across industries and economies. He made the remarks at an event in Scotland hosted by Britain’s King Charles III, CNBC reported. Nvidia does not disclose total chip sales, but Huang has said it shipped 6 million Blackwell GPUs over four quarters. He also discussed AI safety with Google DeepMind, OpenAI and Anthropic.
