Apple may tap Intel to make iPhone chips, analysts say
Apple is increasingly likely to work with Intel to produce iPhone chips, analysts said. 9to5Mac reported that market analyst Jeff Pu forecast Apple would assign Intel to make iPhone chips for non-Pro models from 2028. Pu also said Intel\'s 1.4-nanometre-class process could win orders from Apple, AMD and Nvidia. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted Intel would produce lower-cost Apple M processors from 2027 for iPads and some Mac models.
