Apple may release new products in early 2026. On December 5, Nine to Five Mac introduced four products expected to arrive in early 2026, possibly as soon as January.

Apple launched MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and Vision Pro models with the M5 chip this autumn. It has not yet announced M5 Pro and Max versions, and only the 14-inch MacBook Pro uses the M5 chip. Apple plans to release 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and Max chips in early 2026. The timing is similar to the January 2023 launch of MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and Max.

Rumours have circulated for years that Apple would introduce a low-cost MacBook to compete with Chromebooks and budget PCs. It now appears closer to reality. Apple may unveil a 12.9-inch MacBook with an A18 Pro chip in early 2026. It is expected in various colours, priced at 599 dollars or 699 dollars. Analyst Jeff Pu expects a launch in the first quarter of 2026.

In 2025, Apple upgraded its base iPad with the A16 Bionic chip. A new iPad with an A18 chip is expected in early 2026, including support for Apple Intelligence. The design appears similar to the current model, with internal specifications upgraded.

Apple plans to announce another iPhone 17 model in early 2026. In February 2025, it branded the successor to the iPhone SE as the iPhone 16e. Rumours say Apple plans annual updates to the e model. The iPhone 17e will use the same A19 chip as the iPhone 17 and feature a Center Stage front camera. It adopts a Dynamic Island design with thinner bezels instead of a notch. The price is 599 dollars, and it is likely to have a single rear camera.

Other products could also debut in early 2026. These include the M5 MacBook Air, the M4 iPad Air and a new Mac display. The iPad Air and base iPad launched together in early 2025. A new Mac display may be announced alongside the MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and Max chips.
