Bespin Global to work with JB Financial Group on company-wide AX innovation, with focus on outcomes

Bespin Global said on Sept. 29 it will cooperate with JB Financial Group to improve how the group drives AI transformation, or AX. JB Financial Group will set group-wide direction and common standards, while affiliates such as Jeonbuk Bank, Gwangju Bank and JB Woori Capital apply specialised functions on a common AI platform. The partners will pursue AX in a hybrid environment and build a dedicated squad-based execution system focused on validating outcomes.

JB Financial Group, Upstage partner to develop finance-focused AI agents, expand group AX

JB Financial Group will work with AI company Upstage to develop finance-focused AI agents that can be applied in financial operations. Key affiliates including Jeonbuk Bank, Gwangju Bank and JB Woori Capital will take part to expand group-wide AI transformation. The partners will jointly develop AI agents using Upstage’s large language model technology, identify tasks for on-site deployment, and broaden cooperation to training, personnel exchanges, regional projects and consortium participation.

Regional financial groups slip in H1 results as BNK-JB merger talks collapse

Three region-based South Korean financial holding firms posted weaker combined first-half results as declines at BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Holding outweighed gains at JB Financial Group. Their combined controlling-stake net profit fell 5.4 percent to 1.0931 trillion won. The gap versus the four major financial groups widened as their combined profit rose to 11.3392 trillion won. BNK and JB also rejected reviewing a merger proposed by Align Partners.
