MegazoneCloud builds generative AI platform for JB Woori Capital
MegazoneCloud said on Tuesday it built a generative AI platform for JB Woori Capital, a specialized credit finance company under JB Financial Group, to improve efficiency in writing core business reports. JB Woori Capital decided to adopt a generative AI-based platform to boost efficiency in document drafting and information analysis. The platform is based on AWS Amazon Bedrock and includes Anthropic\'s Claude Sonnet 4.5 and retrieval-augmented generation technology.

Regional financial holding firms post record results, eye non-bank growth battle in 2026
Three regional financial holding firms - BNK, JB and iM - posted record annual results last year, with combined net profit rising 21.5 percent to 1.97 trillion won. BNK remained the largest by profit, while JB’s capital unit and an overseas bank boosted non-bank earnings. iM logged the sharpest rebound as its securities unit returned to profit. JB Financial 2025 net profit rises 4.9 percent to 710.4 billion won
JB Financial Group said on Feb. 5 it posted 2025 net profit attributable to owners of 710.4 billion won, up 4.9 percent from a year earlier and a record that exceeded its annual guidance. It reported ROE of 12.4 percent and ROA of 1.04 percent. The board approved a year-end cash dividend of 660 won per common share, putting the payout ratio at about 30 percent.
