Bespin Global said on Sept. 29 it will cooperate with JB Financial Group with the aim of improving how it drives AI transformation (AX).

JB Financial Group will set group-wide AX direction and common standards centred on the holding company. Affiliates such as Jeonbuk Bank, Gwangju Bank and JB Woori Capital will apply specialised functions needed for their work environments based on a common AI platform.

Bespin Global and JB Financial Group will focus on AX based on a hybrid environment.

In consideration of security and data control requirements for financial operations, they will enable AI platforms and agents to run in on-premises environments at affiliates. They will also use an external public cloud-based Playground to rapidly test and verify the latest large language models and AI agent technologies in parallel.

Along with building the platform, Bespin Global and JB Financial Group are also establishing a squad-based AX execution system. A squad is a way of working in which specialists from various job groups form a small team and work end-to-end.

Bespin Global and JB Financial Group are currently pursuing various AX initiatives centred on actual operations, including corporate credit review, an AI-based Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the use of AI for work manuals and documents. Rather than prioritising how widely AI is applied, they aim to validate specific results such as reduced work time, higher productivity, decision support and improved work quality, giving priority to what outcomes are produced in real work. They also aim to quickly expand verified cases to other tasks and affiliates.
