AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Tuesday it built a generative AI platform for JB Woori Capital, a specialized credit finance company under JB Financial Group, to improve efficiency in drafting core business reports.
JB Woori Capital has had to spend a lot of time analyzing corporate information and preparing various reports due to the nature of its work. It decided to build a generative AI-based platform to improve efficiency in document drafting and information analysis. The company also aims to help employees move away from simple repetitive tasks and focus on higher value-added core work.
MegazoneCloud built the JB Woori Capital generative AI platform through its Megazone AIR Consulting service and its development service, Megazone AIR Build. The platform is based on AWS Amazon Bedrock and is equipped with Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 4.5 and retrieval-augmented generation technology.
MegazoneCloud said JB Woori Capital automated its report-writing process with the platform. It said the time required to prepare sales approval request forms was cut by about 80 percent, while the time required to prepare review opinion documents was reduced by 30 percent.
JB Woori Capital Digital-IT Division head Jae-gwan Lee (이재관), a managing director, said reviews continue to say the company can focus on core work such as corporate analysis and customer response by effectively shortening repetitive report-writing tasks. He said convenience improved not only for sales and review staff but also for post-management employees, while efficiency in collaboration between departments also increased, leading to higher productivity across the organization.
MegazoneCloud CAIO Seong-bae Kong (공성배), chief AI officer, said the project proved that generative AI technology can lead to tangible business results even in the financial sector, where security regulations are strict. He said the company will continue to actively support customers' digital innovation based on AI and cloud technology specialized for the financial sector.
