Mirae Asset Securities\' ISA client assets top 15 trillion won, up 5 trillion in three months
Mirae Asset Securities said on Wednesday that client assets in its Individual Savings Account (ISA) programme have topped 15 trillion won. The company said assets rose by 5 trillion won in three months after exceeding 10 trillion won at the end of January, reflecting continued investor interest in tax-saving investments. It said about 5,100 clients received tax benefits through maturity cancellations in the first quarter.

Securities industry to hold joint March event marking ISA 10th anniversary
South Korea\'s securities industry will run a month-long sign-up and investment event for Individual Savings Accounts from March 3 to mark the product\'s 10th anniversary. The Korea Financial Investment Association said it prepared the event jointly with securities firms. Twenty-one brokerages will participate, offering various benefits to customers who open new ISA accounts, make additional payments or transfer accounts. ISA subscribers total about 8 million with 50 trillion won in subscriptions as of end-January 2026.

Kiwoom Securities\' brokerage ISA account balance tops 3 trillion won
Kiwoom Securities said on Tuesday that balances in its brokerage individual savings account (ISA) reached 3.007 trillion won as of Feb. 6, with the evaluated amount at 3.5623 trillion won. It said balances were about triple the end-2024 level of 1.2 trillion won. The number of accounts climbed from 145,000 at end-2024 to more than 350,000 recently. Market share by accounts rose to 4.44 percent in 2025.
