Danal Fintech, BNK Busan Bank complete won stablecoin payment PoC
Danal Fintech and BNK Busan Bank have completed a second technical verification of a won stablecoin platform, testing processing speed and stability needed for commercial service. The test used Danal Fintech\'s SaaS-based platform, Ieum, and included a dedicated bank test app, admin dashboard and a model reflecting the current local currency structure. The partners validated key functions and built a dedicated subnet, cutting response time to about 0.3 seconds.

Woori Bank opens \'Ieum Consultation Centre\' in key Seoul commercial districts
Woori Bank is opening a consultation-focused channel, the Woori Ieum Consultation Centre, in major commercial areas of Seoul to strengthen tailored financial support for small business owners and office workers. The bank said it has set up three centres in key hubs including Namdaemun, Gangnam and Hongdae. The centres prioritise customer consultations over product sales and operate with extended hours on weekdays and weekends. They offer advice on loans, asset management and retirement planning.

NHN shifts game strategy to Japan, targets growth in cloud, payments and defense
NHN is adjusting its game business strategy to target Japan and laid out plans to secure new growth engines in cloud, payments and defense. CEO Jung Woo-jin said the company is preparing a strategy change and pursuing contracts with well-known IPs in Japan and projects under code names. NHN Cloud began operating water-cooled B200 GPUs at its Seoul Yangpyeong region and expects related revenue from the second quarter.
