Nexon brings MapleStory universe to life with Hongdae escape room cafe opening
Nexon has opened a MapleStory-themed escape room cafe in Seoul\'s Hongdae, created with Idea Creative and located in front of Hongik University’s main gate. The venue recreates key in-game areas as escape room content, starting with the thriller-themed Kerning City and arcade-themed Mu Lung Do Won. Nexon will add three more themes through Oct. 12. Tickets cost 29,000 won per person, with reservations opening weekly on YES24.

Nexon to open Maplestory escape room cafe in Hongdae for two years
Nexon said on Thursday it will open a Maplestory-themed escape room cafe, Maplestory Escape, near the main gate of Hongik University in Seoul on Sept. 21 in collaboration with Isang Creative. The permanent venue will offer five themed rooms released in stages and allow 2 to 6 participants per session, with reservations handled via YES24. Nexon also announced pre-sales and multiple events, including creator participation in October.

Musinsa Beauty opens 1,320-sqm standalone store in Hongdae with 870 brands
Musinsa Beauty is launching a new offline experiment by working with a pharmacy. The company said on Wednesday it will open its first standalone offline store, “Musinsa Beauty Hongdae,” in Seoul’s Hongdae district on Sept. 11. The four-storey shop spans about 1,322 square metres and carries about 12,000 products from 870 brands. It includes a K-beauty-focused pharmacy and areas highlighting indie and niche brands.
