KT to host World Cup street viewing in Gwanghwamun, expand customer benefits
KT will hold 2026 World Cup street-viewing events at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on June 12, 19 and 25 with the Red Devils and the Korea Football Association. Working with JTBC, it will broadcast South Korea’s World Cup qualifiers live on two large media walls at the KT Gwanghwamun Building West. KT will also run promotions through July 19, offering cheering goods, prize draws and sign-up events for customers.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on Thursday set out plans to launch four new businesses and outlined a plan to set up an AI technology centre in Seoul on his first day in South Korea. He said Nvidia was bringing four new businesses to Korea and that the country would get busy. The four include the Vera Rubin AI accelerator, a Vera CPU, RTX Spark AI laptops, and the Jetson Thor edge supercomputer for humanoid robots and physical AI.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) will visit South Korea on June 5, his first trip in about seven months, and is set to meet leaders of major conglomerates, game industry executives, AI and robotics startups and university researchers over four days. He is expected to arrive via Gimpo Airport and hold a dinner meeting in Seoul’s Hongdae area with top executives including SK, Hyundai Motor, LG and Naver figures. Further meetings are planned through June 8.
