Hana Financial appoints Lee Seung-yeol as CIFO to strengthen inclusive finance governance

Hana Financial Group said on Tuesday it will strengthen its inclusive finance execution framework by appointing Vice Chairman Lee Seung-yeol (이승열) as chief inclusive finance officer. The group said it executed more than 60 percent of its 3.1 trillion won annual inclusive finance target in the first half and will step up efforts in the second half. Plans cover youth and small business support, debtor protection and financial crime prevention, and expansion of social solidarity finance.

Hana Bank runs partner event for minor customers with \'One Pick\' account

Hana Bank is offering a one-time integrated pass for kids cafes to minors who newly open its dedicated \'One Pick\' account, it said on Sunday. The campaign runs through the end of August via the event page in the Hana OneQ app. The account pays up to 2.0 percent annual interest on up to 5 million won of the daily final balance. Passes can be used at about 60 directly operated stores nationwide until end-October.

Hana Bank launches 5.5 percent mid-rate loan for mid-to-low credit borrowers

Hana Bank launched an online-only mid-rate unsecured loan aimed at improving access to finance for mid-to-low credit borrowers. The product applies a fixed annual interest rate of 5.5 percent and offers a maximum limit of 10 million won, targeting customers in the bottom 50 percent of personal credit scores. Hana Bank plans to supply 2 trillion won of the loans and said the design helps borrowers plan repayments without rate volatility.
