Hana Financial Group said on May 31 it held the first Hana Financial Money Show on May 28 at its Myeongdong office building.
The event was set up as an integrated wealth management programme with key affiliates including Hana Bank, Hana Securities, Hana Life and Hana Insurance taking part.
The group took pre-registrations through its mobile app Hana OneQ, but closed early after about 1,500 people signed up on the first day. It also livestreamed major lectures on its official YouTube channel, HanaTV, for customers unable to attend in person. About 900 people connected simultaneously to the livestream, and related videos later topped 8,100 views.
The Hana Financial Money Show, held for the first time this year, was marked by an expansion to the group level of wealth management seminars previously run by each affiliate. Hana Financial operated selectable lectures tailored to customers’ investment preferences and interests, one-on-one customised consultations and an event zone by combining the expertise of its affiliates.
The one-on-one consultation booths covered wealth succession, gift and inheritance taxes, tailored investment strategies for personal assets, outlooks for domestic and overseas stock markets, and insurance coverage analysis.
In the selectable lectures by field, experts from Hana Bank explained real estate succession and tax-saving strategies and ways to transfer assets using testamentary substitute trusts. An analyst from Hana Securities presented a market outlook under the theme, "Survival strategies for the era of a 10,000-point KOSPI."
External speakers included AFW Partners Chief Executive Lee Seon-yeop (이선엽), who assessed global market trends under the theme, "Trump MAGA, Changes in the global economy and industry driven by the Genesis Mission." Professor Lee Ho-seon (이호선) gave a lecture titled, "Communication psychology that moves families," and discussed the meaning of communication among family members.
Hana Financial Chairman Ham Young-joo (함영주) said, "The greater market uncertainty becomes, the more important it is who you are with." He added, "I hope the first Hana Financial Money Show will become an opportunity to accompany customers on their wealth management journey and establish itself as a reliable lifelong life-care partner that protects customers’ dreams and their families’ future."
