Razer CEO says AI IPO supercycle is just beginning
Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Singapore gaming hardware company Razer, said a surge of AI company IPOs is only at an early stage. He said more waves of new listings are likely beyond OpenAI, Anthropic and SpaceX. SpaceX is set for an IPO on June 12 and is targeting a valuation of about $1.77 trillion. Razer delisted in 2022 to focus on long-term AI investment.

SKT adds investment in Anthropic, joins Series H funding
SK Telecom has made an additional investment in AI model developer Anthropic by participating in its Series H funding round, the company said. SKT previously invested $100 million in August 2023 and initially secured about a 2 percent stake, which has since been diluted to about 0.3 percent after new share issuance. Anthropic is valued at about $965 billion, and SKT’s stake value is estimated at more than 4.4 trillion won.

No bitcoin summer bull market, analyst sees 3 to 5 months of sideways trade
Market talk is resurfacing that bitcoin is less likely to rebound this summer. Veteran trader Peter Brandt cites a chart for ProShares UltraShort Bitcoin ETF SBIT, which bets on bitcoin declines, as suggesting further downside pressure if a technical reversal pattern plays out. Another analyst, Bob Loukas, says the market remains in a bearish phase and may need 3 to 5 months of choppy sideways trading to build a base for the next cycle.
