Hana Financial Group is holding a solo exhibition by artist Jo Tae-sung (조태성), an artist with developmental disabilities, and will continue supporting the creative and artistic activities of artists with disabilities.
Hana Financial said on Wednesday it held an opening event for Jo's solo exhibition, titled "Meet at HanaZOO", at the H.art1 complex cultural space in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul. The exhibition runs through Oct. 13 and showcases about 40 works, including paintings and media art.
Jo won an excellence award in 2022, a top excellence award in 2023 and a prize in 2024 at the art competition "Hana Art Bus", which Hana Financial has operated since 2022 to support the creative work and independence of artists with developmental disabilities. He then won the grand prize in 2025.
The exhibition features works based on animals such as tigers, lions, rhinoceroses and gorillas, as well as "letter paintings" that combine letters with animal forms. The opening event also included an artist talk, a docent-led tour and live drawing on site.
Lee Eun-hyung (이은형), vice chairman of Hana Financial Group, said, "We will spread the value of inclusion that respects diversity through art."
