Cursor unveils Origin code hosting platform, challenging GitHub
AI coding tool Cursor has launched its own source code hosting platform, Origin, to expand its AI development environment, Techzine reported on Aug. 18. Origin rebuilds repository, pull request and code search and browsing features around AI agents. It is available as an early beta for paid subscribers. Users can create repositories, clone code via command line and upload to Origin. It also supports GitHub integration and can be disconnected at any time.

AWS upgrades DevOps agent with AI automated code testing and review features
Amazon Web Services said on June 18 it added release management features to its DevOps agent. The move reflects a situation in which review, testing and deployment have emerged as new bottlenecks as AI-assisted coding spreads. The release management capabilities, currently offered as a preview, include a release readiness feature that automatically checks code changes against internal standards and runs them in an AWS-managed isolated environment.

MegazoneCloud to hold ICON 2026 security conference with global partners on April 2
MegazoneCloud will hold its ICON 2026 partner conference on April 2 at the InterContinental Seoul Parnas Grand Ballroom. The third annual event will introduce AI, cloud and security technologies based on its network of more than 200 global partners. This year’s conference focuses on why companies should adopt AI and security and how to design and run them. A total of 21 global technology partners will take part.
