Anthropic has launched Claude Marketplace, an e-commerce platform where corporate customers can buy third-party software, SiliconANGLE reported on March 7 local time.
Claude Marketplace is a service based on Anthropic’s Claude series of large language models. Six companies are taking part: Snowflake, GitLab, Harvey AI, Rogo, Replit and LovableLabs. Lovable and Replit provide AI platforms that enable non-technical users to build websites and simple apps. Harvey and Rogo sell automation tools for legal and financial data analysis. Snowflake and GitLab also participate in existing cloud marketplaces, and plan to expand the AI software ecosystem through this cooperation.
Claude Marketplace allows companies to purchase software on a single platform rather than handling multiple cloud service bills. It also offers a feature that lets customers use part of an Anthropic spending commitment to buy third-party products. Anthropic does not take a fee on marketplace transactions, Bloomberg reported. It plans to add AI datasets and professional services in the future.
OpenAI may also launch a similar corporate e-commerce platform.
