One in four Gen Z adults in U.S., Canada say they have had romantic talks with AI
One in four Gen Z adults in the United States and Canada have had romantic or sexual interactions with artificial intelligence, a survey found. Nineteen percent of all respondents reported similar experiences, and more than half said talking with AI is easier than talking with a real person. Some respondents said they used AI for emotional support or companionship. Most respondents viewed romantic feelings toward AI as cheating, and many kept such interactions from partners.

U.S. Gen Z investors are moving into bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies despite sharp volatility, with more than 64 percent saying they are willing to take risks and about two thirds planning to invest this year. Many turn to TikTok and other social media for financial advice and report “financial FOMO.” The trend is accompanied by concerns about limited understanding, unverified tips, market transparency and the limits of diversification benefits.

Gen Z retirement simulator highlights STRC option instead of pension
An interactive calculator released by a Cornell University student models how retirement assets could change if payroll taxes were invested in Strategy’s STRC preferred shares. The tool assumes a 22-year-old earning $100,000 redirects a 6.2 percent payroll tax into STRC, reinvesting dividends monthly. It projects a portfolio value of $2.69 million at age 67 and $13,405 in monthly dividends, compared with $2,074 in average monthly Social Security benefits, while noting dividend and policy risks.
