[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] Hancom will run a special Hancom Taja campaign with Haitai Confectionery for 2 months from July 1.
Hancom is collaborating with Haitai Garuibi snack brands (Honey Butter Chip, Garuibi Potato Chips, Osatsu, Jagabee, Baked Onion, Saengsaeng Potato Chips) to newly present the popular Hancom Taja game 'Acid Rain'.
Hancom integrated the Haitai Garuibi brand into the Acid Rain game for the collaboration. Previously, only letters fell to the bottom of the screen. In the special edition, images of actual Haitai Garuibi snack packages appear at random along with the letters.
Users type the snack names falling on the screen quickly, and when an entry is successful, ASMR sound effects reflecting each product’s features play.
Event participants will be selected by drawing, with 130 people receiving Haitai Garuibi snack gift sets and 70 people receiving a body pillow featuring the popular Hancom Taja character 'Brown-haired Guy.'
Hancom will also run the collaboration offline. Hancom is working with the self photo studio brand Photoism (Photoism) to launch a limited 'Photoism summer frame' using Hancom Taja character IP.
A Hancom official said, "We naturally incorporated Haitai Garuibi brand elements into the Acid Rain game and expanded offline touchpoints through a collaboration with Photoism," adding, "We expect it will provide a different kind of fun and memories for existing users as well as Gen Z users."
