Career platform JobPlanet said on Tuesday it has introduced a new career media service, JobplWiki, for Generation Z.
The company said JobplWiki is a content channel created by revamping CompanyTimes, a career information media outlet JobPlanet has operated since 2020. With the motto “easy career answers,” it targets Gen Z at an early career stage, including university students, job seekers, first-time workers and junior office workers preparing for their first job change. It provides information needed across the career journey, from exploring career paths to preparing for employment and job changes.
JobPlanet said it aims to be a trendy, sensibility-driven content hub that differentiates itself from existing human resources information platforms. It said it will expand interactive content that encourages Gen Z participation, including surveys and personality-type tests, rather than simply delivering information.
JobPlanet plans to regularly provide key career trends and new content through JobplLetter, a newsletter published every Monday. It also plans to run participatory events, including a contest to create a nickname for readers.
A JobPlanet official said, “We hope that career exploration for Gen Z is no longer a daunting task, but a process of finding their own answers while enjoying it.” The official added, “JobplWiki will be with them in every moment of the first stage of their careers with JobPlanet’s data and vivid stories.”
