Samsung to end Samsung Messages service in July, switching users to Google Messages
Samsung Electronics will end its proprietary text and chat service Samsung Messages for Galaxy phones in July and replace it entirely with Google Messages. The company posted an end-of-service notice on its official website and strongly recommended that users change their default messaging app. Switching to Google Messages enables RCS-based features such as high-resolution media sharing and group chats, though some customization may be limited for some users.

Samsung Electronics to expand collaboration with game industry using Galaxy S26
Samsung Electronics said on Thursday it will expand collaboration with domestic and overseas game companies ahead of the Galaxy S26 launch. It will offer special Galaxy themes and accessories based on popular games such as Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile. Customers who buy the Galaxy S26 series from March 6 to April 30 will receive special themes for eight games. Samsung will also run offline events and experience zones at several locations in Seoul.

Devsisters to launch Galaxy S26 Cookie Run theme with Samsung Electronics
Devsisters will release a Galaxy S26 series special theme for its new game Cookie Run: OvenSmash, due out in March, in collaboration with Samsung Electronics. The theme was made to mark the launch of Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S26 series. It will be offered as a purchase benefit and can be downloaded through the Galaxy Store on eligible devices bought and activated in South Korea.
