Devsisters will roll out a limited-edition theme for its upcoming game to coincide with Samsung Electronics' launch of a new smartphone.
On Feb. 27, Devsisters said it will launch a special Galaxy S26 series theme for its new game Cookie Run: OvenSmash, due out in March, in collaboration with Samsung Electronics. The collaboration was held to mark the launch of Samsung Electronics' new flagship Galaxy S26 series.
The special theme was created with the beat and energy of DJ Miya, a popular virtual idol character from Platter City, the city that serves as the game's setting, as its motif.
It reflects the mood of Cookie Run: OvenSmash across the smartphone screen, blending stylish action and its urban fantasy universe around DJ Miya's bouncy rhythm and distinctive visuals. It adds dynamic colour effects and graphic elements, a feature designed to match the vivid display of the Galaxy S26 series.
The Cookie Run: OvenSmash special theme will be provided as a purchase benefit for the Galaxy S26 series. It can be downloaded by accessing the special theme event page in the Galaxy Store on devices purchased and activated in South Korea. The download period runs from 11 a.m. on March 6 to April 30.
An offline event will also be held at the Galaxy Studio at Samsung Store Hongdae. Visitors can download the theme by tagging a Galaxy smartphone on near-field communication (NFC) devices set up on site, and the event runs through April 7.
