Nexon held an offline charity run with users of its subculture game Blue Archive, seeking to put the game’s intellectual property to positive use. The event, described as the first such run by a domestic subculture game IP, drew thousands of people and was held successfully.

Nexon said on June 15 it has wrapped up Kibotos Run 2026, Blue Archive’s first offline charity running event.

Kibotos Run 2026, held on June 14 at Misagyeongjeong Park in Misa, Hanam, Gyeonggi province, was a participatory event set up to mark 4.5 years of Blue Archive’s global service. The event centered on a 5-km course run and was held with various on-site programs, with 4,500 users taking part.

Before the run began, participants did warm-up stretching on stage. Kim Yong-ha (김용하), executive producer, and other developers went on stage to talk with participants. A performance by DJ KARUT and a cheerleading show followed, heightening the atmosphere for the start.

Participants who completed the 5-km course received commemorative items including a finisher medal and Galaxy Store coupons. Hands-on content for users was also set up around the venue. The official goods area, called the Schale Store, a Kibotos Run photo wall, a finisher photo zone and sponsor booths were operated, and a photo session with character cosplay players was also held.

Nexon plans to donate part of the event’s proceeds to the operating fund for the Purme Foundation Nexon Children's Rehabilitation Hospital, as a way to put the value of sharing into practice together with users.

Kim said, "If we have built many delicious memories with teachers through food and beverage collaborations, this Kibotos Run 2026 will likely remain as a healthy memory." He added, "I thank all the teachers who joined us, and we will continue to present various content and events that capture Blue Archive’s unique appeal."
