MCP adoption simplifies AI-legacy system integration, but quality and governance remain challenges
Musinsa Tech said introducing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for a conversational product discovery service made it easier for AI to connect to external data and software tools, but did not guarantee the AI would use tools as intended. Chinese memory chipmaker ChangXin Technology Group (CXMT) surged about 470 percent on its first day of trading on Shanghai\'s STAR Market, becoming China\'s most valuable listed company. The Hefei-based firm priced its IPO at 8.66 yuan per share and raised 57.92 billion yuan, described as Asia\'s largest IPO this year. Its market value rose to about 3.3 trillion yuan. CXMT plans to invest proceeds in memory wafer production and R&D.

Tesla posts $112 million fair-value loss on bitcoin in second quarter
Tesla recorded a $112 million pretax fair-value loss in the second quarter due to falling cryptocurrency prices, cutting net income even without selling assets. Net income attributable to common shareholders fell $87 million after tax and earnings per share dropped $0.02. Digital assets had a carrying value of $674 million at June 30. Under FASB rules, digital assets are revalued each quarter, with changes hitting net income immediately.
