SKT to push wider use of Chatting+ PC version with referral, installation event
SK Telecom is seeking to expand users of its PC text messaging service, Chatting+ PC. The company said it will run a referral and installation event through Oct. 16, offering prizes worth a total of 20 million won. Chatting+ PC was jointly developed with Samsung Electronics and lets SKT customers with compatible Samsung Galaxy phones send texts from a PC using their existing phone number.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 draws 1.6 times more iOS switchers in all-out push for iPhone users

Samsung said the share of iOS users switching to its Galaxy Z Fold8 series rose 1.6 times from the prior model. It also highlighted U.S. buyers moving from other brands and promoted design, multitasking and large-screen use. Samsung upgraded Smart Switch to simplify wireless data transfers via QR code scanning.
