KD Lab adds custom AI roleplay to Sokind job communication coaching platform

KD Lab, an AI-based communications training solutions company, said on Sept. 10 it added a custom AI roleplay feature to its job communication coaching platform, Sokind. The company said users can set customer traits and situations they face at work and practise conversations with an AI customer. It said the function broadens personalisation beyond administrator-set scenarios. The feature is being applied first at two domestic life insurers.

Court grants Kwon Hyuk-bin divorce, orders in-kind split of 35 percent of Smilegate shares

A Seoul family court granted the divorce of Smilegate founder and chief vision officer Kwon Hyuk-bin (권혁빈) and his spouse Lee (이모씨), accepting the divorce claim at first instance. The court set Lee’s contribution to the couple’s assets at 35 percent and ordered an in-kind division of 35 percent of Smilegate-related shares. It also ordered Kwon to pay 65 billion won in cash for the shortfall and interest for late payment.

Samsung Galaxy Watch expands from personal health management to family monitoring tool

Samsung Electronics is expanding the Galaxy Watch’s health management features from individuals to families by adding family profiles to Samsung Health and linking Samsung accounts. Users can selectively share metrics such as steps, sleep, heart rate, blood pressure and blood glucose so relatives can monitor changes and respond. Samsung also highlighted heart-health scoring and sleep-time vital signs tracking, and cited regulatory approvals and cases where alerts prompted medical care.
