Solid-state battery maker Factorial begins trading on Nasdaq, eyes aviation, defense and robotics
U.S. solid-state battery company Factorial Energy has completed its Nasdaq listing and plans to expand commercialization and production of next-generation batteries. It began trading after merging with SPAC Cartesian Growth Corp III, with ticker symbols FAC and FACWW. The deal values the company at about $1.3 billion and raised about $110 million. Factorial plans to invest beyond EVs into defense, aerospace, hyperscale data centers and robotics.
