Open-source Ingress NGINX discontinued; ITien launches migration service

ITien said on Tuesday it has launched an online migration tool called Ingress To NGF to help users shift architectures after official support for the open-source Ingress NGINX ended. Ingress NGINX is a network controller that connects and routes external HTTP and HTTPS traffic to applications inside Kubernetes clusters. The company said the Kubernetes community-maintained project ended in March 2026, halting security patches, feature improvements and bug fixes.

Commercial security services based on advanced AI models spread

Moves by the security industry are accelerating to offer commercial services that use large language models to help public and private organisations detect software vulnerabilities. IBM and OpenAI unveiled an enterprise AI security service, while SoftBank Group launched a product based on OpenAI models. OpenAI updated GPT-5.5-Cyber and expanded partner programmes. Intelligence agencies warned of destructive AI cyber attacks. Companies worldwide also announced new tools, acquisitions, funding and partnerships, including PQC standardisation efforts in South Korea.

Conditions for integrated AI security platform: Block three control points

An F5 executive said AI is changing application security as software, not humans, can become application users. He said security risks are rising as large language models create new attack surfaces and attackers move at machine speed. He said an integrated AI security approach must cover three control points: the front door, orchestration and inference. He also outlined F5’s WAF redesign and AI security tools, and announced the acquisition of Sure Path AI.
