Piolink says AI hacking spreads, calls for multilayer defenses with CTEM and web firewalls

Piolink said cyberattacks targeting the financial sector using AI tools are increasing and called for a multilayer defense combining continuous threat exposure management (CTEM), web application firewalls and 24-hour security monitoring. It said CTEM continuously identifies exposed attack surfaces and validates real attack likelihood to set response priorities. Piolink said its BlueHunter platform implements CTEM and that its WebFront-K provides signatures to detect and block ARTEX-related attacks.

Hadrian Security raises 36 million euros in funding

Netherlands-based security startup Hadrian Security has raised 36 million euros in funding, a tech publication reported on Monday. The company provides AI agents that identify vulnerabilities attackers could actually exploit. Its platform includes Atlas, which monitors external attack surfaces and verifies exploitability, and Nova, which runs on-demand penetration tests. Hadrian plans to use the funds to expand overseas and grow engineering and research teams, targeting nine-figure revenue long term.

The spread of AI is rapidly shifting the security market’s center of gravity from products to operations, narrowing gaps among vendors, Pago Networks CEO Young-mok Kwon (권영목) said. He said the release of Anthropic’s Mithos has accelerated concerns about faster attacks, underscoring the importance of operational capability and human-in-the-loop approaches. Pago Networks, focused on managed detection and response, is expanding into a security operations center as a service model and introducing three AI-centered brands.
