Hancom reborn as Hancom, declares shift to sovereign agentic OS company
Hancom, formerly known as Haansoft, set out “sovereign agentic OS” as a key term for its strategy as it transforms into an AI company. It said it aims to become a global agentic OS company that guarantees strong data sovereignty while overseeing and controlling the operation of AI agents. Hancom will change its corporate name to Hancom and end sales of its existing year-based package after Hancom Office 2024, shifting to a platform model with real-time AI upgrades.

Com2uS Holdings\' Ares enters global preview, reborn as single-player action RPG
Com2uS Holdings is starting global testing for Ares, which has been revamped from a massively multiplayer online role-playing game into a single-player-focused action RPG, as it moves toward a second-half release. The company said the global early preview runs until 9 a.m. on May 27 across North America, Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia, excluding some markets such as South Korea and Taiwan where the game is already launched.

Fisker EV owners reverse-engineer software after bankruptcy
Owners of Fisker electric vehicles are reverse-engineering software and developing open-source tools to keep their cars running after the company went bankrupt. Fisker Ocean owners have set up a nonprofit, the Fisker Owners Association, to coordinate maintenance and repairs. They are hiring independent experts, sharing firmware and repair know-how and jointly buying parts. The group is also pressing U.S. regulators on recall obligations and discussing insurance coverage.
