China is ahead of the United States in consumer adoption of artificial intelligence, with 80 percent of Chinese respondents using AI at least weekly for personal purposes, compared with 54 percent in the U.S., Morgan Stanley said. China’s generative AI user base also rose sharply from December 2024 to December 2025.
