SK Shieldus holds \'Hope RED PACK\' blood donation campaign with employees

SK Shieldus said on Wednesday it will run its \'Hope RED PACK\' blood donation campaign with all employees. The annual campaign is one of the company\'s key ESG programmes carried out with staff. SK Shieldus said it will run the campaign for all employees through Oct. 7. To improve convenience for participation, it operated blood donation buses at its Pangyo office on Sept. 14 and its Samseong-dong office on Sept. 15.

Lotte opens \'Lotte x KAIST R&D Center\' with 10 billion won donation

Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Lotte Group have set up an industry-academia cooperation hub to jointly pursue work from R&D to commercialisation to address sustainability issues. KAIST said it held a completion ceremony for the \'Lotte x KAIST R&D Center\' at its Daejeon campus on Sept. 11. The centre was built using a 10 billion won construction donation from Lotte and KAIST funds, and will focus on bio sustainability, carbon-neutral energy, materials and processes, and advanced food and healthcare.

KCA delivers 10 million won hometown donation for flood recovery in Geoje, Tongyeong

Korea Communications Agency (KCA) said on Sept. 10 it donated 10 million won in hometown love donations to Geoje and Tongyeong in South Gyeongsang province, which were designated special disaster zones after heavy rain. The donation follows KCA support announced on Aug. 27 for free inspections of vessel maritime communications equipment. Funds were raised through individual employee participation because corporate donations are restricted under the scheme.
