KOFIA volunteers at Hansarang Village, donates 20 million won

The Korea Financial Investment Association held volunteer activities with its member firms at Hansarang Village, a residential facility for people with severe disabilities in Gwangju, Gyeonggi province. The association said 55 employees from 14 member companies and KOFIA took part. It also delivered a 20 million won donation to improve living conditions, including drainage maintenance and room improvements. The volunteer programme marks its 15th year.

Woori Financial Group provides cooling supplies to 2,527 energy-vulnerable households

Woori Financial Group\'s Woori Financial Future Foundation will provide cooling supplies to help Seoul households vulnerable to heatwaves get through the summer. The foundation said on June 16 it held a donation ceremony on June 15 at Junglim Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. The support is part of a 400 million won energy assistance program with the Seoul Council on Social Welfare, including 200 million won for summer heatwave supplies for 2,527 low-income households.

Shinhan Financial Group holds \'Just Dream\' sharing volunteer drive

Shinhan Financial Group held an employee volunteer drive to support neighbours in welfare blind spots. The group said it carried out the activity on June 12 at the Seoul Metropolitan Food Donation Support Center to help operate its \'Just Dream\' programme. The event followed Shinhan Financial’s February decision to raise support for the programme to 10 billion won over three years as it expanded to 158 cities, counties and districts and 280 sites.
