Brighter, longer-lasting Galaxy Watch debuts, adds AI health management

Samsung Electronics unveiled two new Galaxy Watch models, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, with upgraded batteries, displays and healthcare features. Samsung has begun developing its next-generation smart ring, the Galaxy Ring 2, as competition in the smart ring market intensifies, the report said. Hon Pak, senior vice president who leads Samsung Electronics\' digital health team, said the company is developing a next-generation product, though he did not disclose a name or launch schedule. Analysts point to subscription policy, wearability, battery performance, platform expansion, differentiated health features and AI-driven coaching as key areas for the follow-up model.

Dassault Systemes will work with PariSante Campus, a French AI and digital innovation hub for healthcare, to support healthcare startups across France and Europe. The partnership will apply virtual twin and cloud technologies to Europe’s digital health ecosystem and help startups access AI capabilities, sovereign cloud infrastructure and mentoring. Eligible startups supported by PariSante Campus can join Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and the OUTSCALE for Entrepreneurs accelerator programme.
