Lulumedic said on Jan. 26 it has been designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as a specialist institution for managing personal information under healthcare MyData.

Specialist institutions for managing personal information under healthcare MyData receive and transmit health and medical information under the Personal Information Protection Act to provide tailored digital healthcare services.

Following the designation, Lulumedic will hold a seminar on healthcare MyData-based AX (AI transformation) demonstration on Feb. 3 with the Korea Digital Health Industry Association and Amazon Web Services Korea at an AWS office in Seoul's Gangnam district.

In the first half of the seminar, Lulumedic CISO Hyeong-cheol Jeon (전형철) will present a “pipeline-type platform” approach that can expand AI services flexibly while meeting security requirements. Jeon is expected to show live demonstrations of the actual implementation process for healthcare MyData-based AX services, including a document-based intelligent consultation service, an automation agent linked to internal corporate systems, and the process of distributing completed AI workflows in API form.

Presentations will also cover changes in the healthcare MyData system and compliance directions by Byeong-nam Lee (이병남), an adviser at Kim & Chang, and cloud security and responsibility in the agentic AI era by Kyung-yoon Kim (김경윤), a solutions architect manager at AWS Korea.

Lulumedic CEO Young-woong Kim (김영웅) said the designation shows the government has recognized Lulumedic’s technology and security. He said the seminar will offer a chance to see firsthand how healthcare MyData and AI can be applied safely to actual work and services, and that the company will not spare multifaceted support to help build a sound industry ecosystem.
