U.S. Air Force weighs space-based solar power for remote military operations, seeks germanium supplies

Teen-founded U.S. defense startup Mach Industries valuation quadruples in a year

U.S. defense technology startup Mach Industries raised $300 million in a Series C round, valuing the company at $1.8 billion. Roswell, the UFO city, holds donated bitcoin for at least 10 years

Roswell, New Mexico, is running an ordinance that prevents the city from selling bitcoin donations for at least 10 years, according to reports. Its bitcoin reserve totals 0.173 BTC, valued at about $13,312. The reserve was built through donations starting in April 2025. The ordinance also limits annual spending to within 21 percent even if the reserve exceeds $1 million, and allows expenditures only once every five years.
